Our story

A Rock Hill frame shop since 1990

Frame Shop & Gallery is a small, independent picture framing shop and art gallery on North Anderson Road in Rock Hill. Since 1990 it has framed the prints, posters, needlework, jerseys, diplomas and family pieces that end up on walls across York County.

Customers know the Quinns by name. Reviews describe Tom Quinn as “the man to see for any kind of framing” and the shop itself as “a hidden jewel.” Another customer wrote that the Quinns did “a great job educating, planning and then framing.”

How we work

You talk to the person who will do the work. We hold moulding corners and mat samples against your piece, explain the pros and cons of each choice, and let you decide. Then the framing is done by hand in the shop.

  • Honest advice: options explained plainly, including when a simpler choice is the better one.
  • Difficult pieces welcome: customers bring us the awkward ones on purpose.
  • Fair prices: reviewers mention fair, reasonable pricing and work that doesn’t take too long.

More than framing

The gallery side of the shop carries art prints and posters ready to frame, from Charleston scenes to South Carolina wildlife. We also clean and restore oil paintings and repair damaged frames.
